While attending conference of All India Bishnoi Doctors Association in Delhi on 17 November, 2007, I was assigned the work of launching web site for Bishnoi Doctors. Doctor’s profession is very reputed profession in the service of the society. Bishnoi community feels proud to have many Bishnoi Doctors studying & working in various specialties all over the word. As chief guest Jaswant Singh Ji MP rightly said that Bishnoi Doctors, Engineers & other Professionals are eyes of our community. We have more role & responsibilities for progress in our society. Bishnoi Doctor’s association and this web site can be a good platform to serve our proud community in a better way. All India Bishnoi Doctors Association was formed as per suggestion made during a previous conference of All Rajasthan Doctors Association formed by Dr. Surta Bishnoi (now in UK). Dr Hanuman Dutt Bishnoi , President of the Association and Dr Mahender Bishnoi organized this conference on 17.11.07 in Delhi. Shri Jaswant Singh Ji (MP) was chief guest and Sh. Salil Vishnoi (MLA), Sh. Heera Lal Ji Bishnoi (Ex.MLA), Sh. P.R. Bishnoi (IAS) were among other honorable guests. Compilation of profiles and photos were arranged by Er. Raj Bishnoi. Dr Suman Bishnoi, Dr Praveen Bishnoi, Dr Shankar Lal Bishnoi and other prominent doctors presented their reports and views. This web site will help to bring & unite all Bishnoi doctors from India and abroad under one umbrella. The main aim to launch this web site is to know and get all the Bishnoi doctors on a single platform and then to organize such conferences more efficiently and frequently to discuss and plan strategy to serve our community with our contribution and then to implement various plans, objectives & welfare activities. Our main objectives will be :- 1. Prepare & maintain database and net work of all the Bishnoi Doctors. 2. Spread awareness about education and especially medicine field. 3. Guide and help young doctors and would be doctors. 4. Share knowledge & experience gained by senior doctors. 5. Organize free medical camps during Bishnoi melas and other gatherings. 6. Organize free medical camps in various Bishnoi villages. 7. Start scholarship for bright but economically weaker students who want to join medical field. 8. Contribute in research and publication of research papers at national & international levels. 9. Help to establish Bishnoi clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, research centers etc. 10. Help Bishnoi doctors to get job in suitable field. 11. Spread health awareness in Bishnoi community. 12. Implement Bishnoi values and Guru Maharaj’s teachings in medical field. 13. Do not allow practice of sex determination of unborn child and girl feticide. 14. Help to establish coaching centers for Bishnoi aspirants of medical field. Only Bishnoi/Vishnoi doctors or in other medical fields are allowed to register account and post their profiles. After registration (with details) members will require to validate their mail id by sending reply with allocated verification code and then only their account will be activated to sign in the website to post and see the profiles. This is a security measure to reduce misuse; hence members are requested to comply with. Doctors who do not wish to post their profile by signing in the web site can mail their profiles to bishnoirk@gmail.com or can send by mail at the address given below. Please do not allow to misuse this free service of a noble cause for Bishnoi Community. Members with bogus details or reported misusing the web site facilities will be removed from the website.
